Rogue Legacy has returned! The game now comes with a second.
Rogue Legacy 2 is described as a genetic Rogue LITE. It features the standard characteristics of a Rogue-like such as randomized runs and changing characters. However, it features persistent upgrades as well as permanent dead heirs. In this game, a grind isn’t necessary. The game can take you to the ever altering world of the game if your are able to play the game well. Or don’t! The choice is yours! With hardcore platforming mixed with an in-depth RPG system, everyone can succeed at some point.
…And in all honesty, isn’t such a choice best? <3
Rogue Legacy 2:
A procedurally generated adventure. Every single day changes the Kingdom as well as no two runs are alike.
Rogue-LITE. Rogue-LITE. The game can be beaten in the first level, but not necessarily means it has to.
Universal Healthcare. Every child is different. A child may have Synethesia while another could be peaceful or just slightly chubby. Because of Socialism the traits that cause more debilitating effects on gameplay can now be rewarded with gold!
Castle Permanence. It is a place of rebellion where the bosses are gone.
Every class (and it’s not just one!) Every class is now equipped with their individual set of weapons. Take down foes from afar by bowing as the swift Ranger, or get up and close with the enormous Battleaxe as the Barbarian.
Stack Runes. Runes can now stack till an infinite. It will take time, but if you’d like to have penta jump, and lifestealas well as hyperspeed you can!
And there’s a lot More. The project is still in the process and would love to learn some additional secrets. :)
